What is Ayurveda?
- Ayurveda, (pronounced ‘Ah-your-vay-dah’), the Sanskrit term for the "Science of Life," originated in India over 5000 years ago.
- It is the only holistic healing science that focuses on each individual person’s unique mental, physical, and emotional balance to prevent illness and promote wellness.
- Ayurveda is considered the Mother of Healing because all other forms of medicines are derived from it.

- Ayurveda teaches us to listen to and be aware of our own bodies so that each person can do what is necessary to create and maintain balance according to his or her individual constitution.
